Disney Princesses don’t always live happily ever after.
At least not in Thomas Czarnecki’s twisted world! The french photographer has put together a very dark collection of photographs in his series ‘From Enchantment to Down’ where he imagines each princesses demise and shows the aftermath as a crime scene.
Mr Czarnecki admits his aim was pure culture shock. He wanted to explore the clash between “the naive universe and the innocence of the fairy tales” and a “much darker reality that is as much part of our common culture”.
The images I chose above show Alice, Aurora, Belle, Jasmine and Ariel.
